  1. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

  10. Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

  11. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

  12. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

  13. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

  14. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

  15. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

  16. ¶ Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

  17. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

  18. The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

  19. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

  20. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

  21. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

  22. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

  23. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

  24. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

  25. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
