  1. ¶ To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;

  2. Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

  3. Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.

  4. Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

  17. ¶ A Song of degrees of David. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

  20. Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

  21. For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

  22. ¶ Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

  23. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

  24. For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

  25. Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
