  1. Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.

  2. Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.

  3. But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.

  4. Is not this thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways?

  16. I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me not.

  17. Thou art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me.

  18. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

  19. ¶ O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar.

  20. Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.

  24. Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.

  25. Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?
