  1. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

  16. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

  17. As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

  18. Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

  19. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
