Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
¶ Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

¶ And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear [your] lies?
And after that they durst not ask him any [question at all].
As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
Therefore will I give their wives unto others, [and] their fields to them that shall inherit [them]: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.

Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
They on the rock [are they], which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace [be] with thee. Amen.

¶ But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in [yourselves], neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
