  1. Therefore we faint not, but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed daily.

  2. Therefore if any man be in Christ, let him be a newe creature. Olde things are passed away: beholde, all things are become newe.

  3. For in Christ Iesus neither circumcision auaileth any thing, nor vncircumcision, but a newe creature.

  9. In that yee are buried with him through baptisme, in whome ye are also raised vp together through the faith of the operation of God, which raised him from the dead.

  10. If yee then bee risen with Christ, seeke those thinges which are aboue, where Christ sitteth at the right hand of God.

  11. And haue put on the newe, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him,

  12. Not by the woorkes of righteousnesse, which we had done, but according to his mercie he saued vs, by the washing of the newe birth, and the renewing of the holy Ghost,

  13. Of his owne will begate hee vs with the woorde of trueth, that we shoulde be as the first fruites of his creatures.

  14. Blessed bee God, euen the Father of our Lord Iesus Christ, which according to his aboundant mercie hath begotten vs againe vnto a liuely hope by the resurrection of Iesus Christ from the dead,

  15. Being borne anewe, not of mortall seede, but of immortall, by the woorde of God, who liueth and endureth for euer.

  16. As newe borne babes desire that sincere milke of the woorde, that yee may growe thereby,

  17. Whereby most great and precious promises are giuen vnto vs, that by them ye should be partakers of the diuine nature, in that ye flee the corruption, which is in the worlde through lust.

  18. If ye know that he is righteous, know ye that he which doeth righteously, is borne of him.

  19. Dearely beloued, nowe are we the sonnes of God, but yet it is not made manifest what we shall be: and we know that when he shalbe made manifest, we shalbe like him: for we shall see him as he is.

  20. Whosoeuer is borne of God, sinneth not: for his seede remaineth in him, neither can hee sinne, because he is borne of God.

  21. Beloued, let vs loue one another: for loue commeth of God, and euery one that loueth, is borne of God, and knoweth God.

  22. Whosoeuer beleeueth that Iesus is that Christ, is borne of God: and euery one that loueth him, which begate, loueth him also which is begotten of him.

  23. For all that is borne of God, ouercommeth this world: and this is that victorie that hath ouercome this world, euen our faith.

  24. We know that whosoeuer is borne of God, sinneth not: but he that is begotten of God, keepeth himselfe, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
