  1. Then the Lord said vnto Kain, Where is Habel thy brother? Who answered, I cannot tell. Am I my brothers keeper?

  16. Iesus sayd vnto him, If thou wilt be perfite, go, sell that thou hast, and giue it to the poore, and thou shalt haue treasure in heauen, and come, and follow me.

  17. And when the yong man heard that saying, he went away sorowfull: for he had great possessions.

  18. For if yee loue them which loue you, what thanke shall ye haue? for euen the sinners loue those that loue them.

  19. And if ye do good for them which do good for you, what thanke shall ye haue? for euen the sinners doe the same.

  20. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receiue, what thanke shall yee haue? for euen the sinners lend to sinners, to receiue the like.

  21. But if thy brother be grieued for the meate, nowe walkest thou not charitably: destroy not him with thy meate, for whome Christ dyed.

  22. We which are strong, ought to beare the infirmities of the weake, and not to please our selues.

  23. Therefore let euery man please his neighbour in that that is good to edification.

  24. For Christ also would not please himselfe, but as it is written, The rebukes of them which rebuke thee, fell on me.

  25. Let no man seeke his owne, but euery man anothers wealth.
