  1. Ye shall therefore be perfit, as your Father which is in heauen, is perfite.

  2. Iesus sayd vnto him, If thou wilt be perfite, go, sell that thou hast, and giue it to the poore, and thou shalt haue treasure in heauen, and come, and follow me.

  3. The disciple is not aboue his master: but whosoeuer will be a perfect disciple, shall bee as his master.

  8. Finally brethren, fare ye well: be perfect: be of good comfort: be of one minde: liue in peace, and the God of loue and peace shalbe with you.

  9. Hee therefore gaue some to be Apostles, and some Prophets, and some Euangelists, and some Pastours, and Teachers,

  10. For the repairing of the Saintes, for the woorke of the ministerie, and for the edification of the bodie of Christ,

  11. Till we all meete together (in the vnitie of faith and that acknowledging of the Sonne of God) vnto a perfite man, and vnto the measure of the age of the fulnesse of Christ,

  12. That ye may alowe those things which are best, that ye may be pure, and without offence vntill the day of Christ,

  13. That ye may be blamelesse, and pure, and the sonnes of God without rebuke in the middes of a naughtie and crooked nation, among whom yee shine as lights in the world,

  14. Not as though I had alreadie attained to it, either were alreadie perfect: but I follow, if that I may comprehend that for whose sake also I am comprehended of Christ Iesus.

  15. Brethren, I count not my selfe, that I haue attained to it, but one thing I doe: I forget that which is behinde, and endeuour my selfe vnto that which is before,

  16. And follow hard toward the marke, for the prise of the hie calling of God in Christ Iesus.

  17. Let vs therefore as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if yee be otherwise minded, God shall reueile euen the same vnto you.

  18. And you which were in times past strangers and enemies, because your mindes were set in euill workes, hath he nowe also reconciled,

  19. In that body of his flesh through death, to make you holy, and vnblameable and without fault in his sight,

  20. Whome we preache, admonishing euery man, and teaching euery man in all wisdome, that we may present euery man perfect in Christ Iesus,

  21. For in him dwelleth all the fulnesse of the Godhead bodily.

  22. And yee are complete in him, which is the head of all principalitie and power.

  23. In whome also yee are circumcised with circumcision made without handes, by putting off the sinfull body of the flesh, through the circumcision of Christ,

  24. And aboue all these thinges put on loue, which is the bond of perfectnes.

  25. Epaphras the seruant of Christ, which is one of you, saluteth you, and alwayes striueth for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect, and full in all the will of God.
