Bible Verses About Patience

And said: Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away: as it hath pleased the Lord, so is it done: blessed be the name of the Lord.
I am become miserable, and am bowed down even to the end: I walked sorrowful all the day long.
For my loins are filled with illusions; and there is no health in my flesh.
I am afflicted and humbled exceedingly: I roared with the groaning of my heart.
Unto the end, a psalm for David himself.
A passionate man stirreth up strifes: he that is patient appeaseth those that are stirred up.
Oppression troubleth the wise, and shall destroy the strength of his heart.
Better is the end of a speech than the beginning. Better is the patient man than the presumptuous.
He was offered because it was his own will, and he opened not his mouth: he shall be led as a sheep to the slaughter, and shall be dumb as a lamb before his shearer, and he shall not open his mouth.
Teth. It is good to wait with silence for the salvation of God.
Teth. It is good for a man, when he hath borne the yoke from his youth.
But that servant falling down, besought him, saying: Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
And he answered him to never a word, so that the governor wondered exceedingly.
And behold there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon: and this man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel. And the Holy Ghost was in him.
But that on the good ground are they who in a good and perfect heart, hearing the word, keep it and bring forth fruit in patience.
In your patience you shall possess your souls.
And the place of the scripture which he was reading was this: He was led as a sheep to the slaughter: and like a lamb without voice before his shearer, so openeth he not his mouth.
Especially as thou knowest all, both customs and questions, that are among the Jews. Wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently.
To them indeed who, according to patience in good work, seek glory and honour and incorruption, eternal life:
And not only so: but we glory also in tribulation, knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience trial; and trial hope;
But if we hope for that which we see not, we wait for it with patience.
Rejoicing in hope. Patient in tribulation. Instant in prayer.
For what things soever were written were written for our learning: that, through patience and the comfort of the scriptures, we might have hope.
Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of one mind, one towards another, according to Jesus Christ:
