  1. and he said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: Jehovah gave, and Jehovah hath taken away; blessed be the name of Jehovah.

  18. especially because thou art expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently.

  19. to them that by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and incorruption, eternal life:

  20. And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness;

  21. and stedfastness, approvedness; and approvedness, hope:

  22. But if we hope for that which we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

  23. rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing stedfastly in prayer;

  24. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that through patience and through comfort of the scriptures we might have hope.

  25. Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus:
