  1. Thus also said God to Noe, and to his sons with him:

  2. And God said to Noe: This shall be the sign of the covenant, which I have established, between me and all flesh upon the earth.

  3. And the sons of Noe, who came out of the ark, were Sem, Cham, and Japheth: and Cham is the father of Chanaan.

  4. These three are the sons of Noe: and from these was all mankind spread over the whole earth.

  5. And Noe a husbandman began to till the ground, and planted a vineyard.

  6. And Noe awaking from the wine, when he had learned what his younger son had done to him,

  7. And Noe lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.

  8. And all his days were in the whole nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.

  9. These are the generations of the sons of Noe: Sem, Cham, and Japheth: and unto them sons were born after the flood.

  10. These are the families of Noe, according to their people and nations. By these were the nations divided on the earth after the flood.

  12. This thing is to me as in the days of Noe, to whom I swore, that I would no more bring in the waters of Noe upon the earth: so have I sworn not to be angry with thee, and not to rebuke thee.

  13. And if these three men, Noe, Daniel, and Job, shall be in it: they shall deliver their own souls by their justice, saith the Lord of hosts.

  14. And Noe, and Daniel, and Job be in the midst thereof: as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter: but they shall only deliver their own souls by their justice.

  15. And as in the days of Noe, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

  16. For, as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, even till that day in which Noe entered into the ark:

  17. Who was of Cainan, who was of Arphaxad, who was of Sem, who was Of Noe, who was of Lamech,

  18. And as it came to pass in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

  19. They did eat and drink, they married wives and were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark and the flood came and destroyed them all.

  20. By faith Noe, having received an answer concerning those things which as yet were not seen, moved with fear, framed the ark for the saving of his house: by the which he condemned the world and was instituted heir of the justice which is by faith.

  21. Which had been some time incredulous, when they waited for the patience of God in the days of Noe, when the ark was a building: wherein a few, that is, eight souls, were saved by water.

  22. And spared not the original world, but preserved Noe, the eighth person, the preacher of justice, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly.
