ADONAI said, "I have seen how my people are being oppressed in Egypt and heard their cry for release from their slavemasters, because I know their pain.

For ADONAI your God has blessed you in everything your hands have produced. He knows that you have been traveling through this vast desert; these forty years ADONAI your God has been with you; and you have lacked nothing.'

"Stop your proud boasting! Don't let arrogance come from your mouth! For ADONAI is a God of knowledge, and he appraises actions.

what more can David say to you? For you know your servant intimately, Adonai ELOHIM.

"As for you, Shlomo my son, know the God of your father. Serve him wholeheartedly and with desire in your being; for ADONAI searches all hearts and understands all the inclinations of people's thoughts. If you seek him, he will let himself be found by you; but if you abandon him, he will reject you forever.

"And you, 'Ezra, making use of the wisdom you have from your God, are to appoint magistrates and judges to judge all the people in the territory beyond the River, that is, all who know the laws of your God; and you are to teach those who don't know them.

You performed signs and wonders against Pharaoh, against all his servants and the people of the land; for you knew how arrogantly they treated them; and you won yourself a name which is yours to this day.

His heart is so wise, his strength so great -who can resist him and succeed?

For he knows when people are worthless; so if he sees iniquity, won't he look into it?

"Can anyone teach God knowledge? After all, he judges those who are on high.

Yet he knows the way I take; when he has tested me, I will come out like gold.

For he can see to the ends of the earth and view everything under heaven.

For he keeps watch on a person's ways; he sees his every step.

For the fact is that my words are true; you have with you a man whose views are pure.

"Look, God is powerful and despises no one, powerful in his strength of understanding.

Do you know how he balances the clouds? These are marvels of him who knows everything!

For ADONAI watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked is doomed.

wouldn't God have discovered this, since he knows the secrets of the heart?

Then they ask, "How does God know? Does the Most High really have knowledge?"

For he understands how we are made, he remembers that we are dust.

What variety there is in your works, ADONAI! How many [of them there are]! In wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creations.

to him who skillfully made the heavens, for his grace continues forever;

You know when I sit and when I stand up, you discern my inclinations from afar,

you scrutinize my daily activities. You are so familiar with all my ways

that before I speak even a word, ADONAI, you know all about it already.
