  1. And Jehovah said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people that are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

  2. For Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee in all the work of thy hand; he hath known thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years Jehovah thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

  3. Talk no more so exceeding proudly; Let not arrogancy come out of your mouth; For Jehovah is a God of knowledge, And by him actions are weighed.

  6. And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God that is in thy hand, appoint magistrates and judges, who may judge all the people that are beyond the River, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye him that knoweth them not.

  7. and showedst signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of his land; for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them, and didst get thee a name, as it is this day.

  8. He iswise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who hath hardened himself against him, and prospered?—

  9. For he knoweth false men: He seeth iniquity also, even though he consider it not.

  10. Shall any teach God knowledge, Seeing he judgeth those that are high?

  11. But he knoweth the way that I take; When he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

  12. For he looketh to the ends of the earth, And seeth under the whole heaven;

  13. For his eyes are upon the ways of a man, And he seeth all his goings.

  14. For truly my words are not false: One that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.

  15. Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: He is mighty in strength of understanding.

  16. Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, The wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?

  17. For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous; But the way of the wicked shall perish.

  18. Will not God search this out? For he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

  19. And they say, How doth God know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?

  20. For he knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust.

  21. O Jehovah, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all: The earth is full of thy riches.

  22. To him that by understanding made the heavens; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever:

  23. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising; Thou understandest my thought afar off.

  24. Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, And art acquainted with all my ways.

  25. For there is not a word in my tongue, But, lo, O Jehovah, thou knowest it altogether.
