Bible Verses About Perseverance

Seek ADONAI and his strength; always seek his presence.

Yet the righteous hold on to their way, and those with clean hands grow stronger and stronger.

He may stumble, but he won't fall headlong, for ADONAI holds him by the hand.

For ADONAI loves justice and will not abandon his faithful; they are preserved forever. But the descendants of the wicked will be cut off.

You will guide me with your advice; and afterwards, you will receive me with honor.

ADONAI will fulfill his purpose for me. Your grace, ADONAI, continues forever. Don't abandon the work of your hands!

But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, shining ever brighter until full daylight.

I will make with them an everlasting covenant not to turn away from them, but to do them good; I will put fear of me in their hearts, so that they will not leave me.

So you, return to your God; hold fast to grace and justice; and always put your hope in your God.

"Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed.

As he sowed, some seed fell alongside the path; and the birds came and ate it up.

Other seed fell on rocky patches where there was not much soil. It sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow;

but when the sun rose, the young plants were scorched; and since their roots were not deep, they dried up.

Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked it; so that it yielded no grain.

But other seed fell into rich soil and produced grain; it sprouted, and grew, and yielded a crop -- thirty, sixty, even a hundred times what was sown."
