  1. For six days you are to do your work, but on the seventh day you must cease, so that your ox and your donkey may rest and the son of your maidservant may be refreshed, as well as the foreign resident.

  17. On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, you are to hold a sacred assembly; you must not do any regular work, and you shall observe a feast to the LORD for seven days.

  18. On the eighth day you are to hold a solemn assembly; you must not do any regular work.

  19. When Jesus saw a large crowd around Him, He gave orders to cross to the other side of the sea.

  20. Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was engulfed by the waves; but Jesus was sleeping.

  21. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

  22. And He said to them, “Come with Me privately to a solitary place, and let us rest for a while.” For many people were coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.

  23. So they went away in a boat by themselves to a solitary place.

  24. and to grant relief to you who are oppressed and to us as well. This will take place when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels

  25. Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be deemed to have fallen short of it.
