  1. May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a double-edged sword in their hands,

  4. to execute the judgment written against them. This honor is for all His saints. Hallelujah!

  18. They raise their voices, they shout for joy; from the west they proclaim the majesty of the LORD.

  19. Therefore glorify the LORD in the east. Extol the name of the LORD, the God of Israel in the islands of the sea.

  20. From the ends of the earth we hear singing: “Glory to the Righteous One.” But I said, “I am wasting away! I am wasting away! Woe is me.” The treacherous betray; the treacherous deal in treachery.

  21. O LORD, You are my God! I will exalt You; I will praise Your name. For You have worked wonders— plans formed long ago— in perfect faithfulness.

  22. So the redeemed of the LORD will return and enter Zion with singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee.

  23. For Sheol cannot thank You; Death cannot praise You. Those who descend to the Pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness.

  24. The living, only the living, can thank You, as I do today; fathers will tell their children about Your faithfulness.

  25. Sing to the LORD a new song— His praise from the ends of the earth— you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and all who dwell in them.
