  14. Wherefore whosoever shall eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

  15. But let a man prove himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.

  16. But if we discerned ourselves, we should not be judged.

  17. Try your own selves, whether ye are in the faith; prove your own selves. Or know ye not as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you? unless indeed ye be reprobate.

  18. For if a man thinketh himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

  19. But let each man prove his own work, and then shall he have his glorying in regard of himself alone, and not of his neighbor.

  20. For each man shall bear his own burden.

  21. because if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

  22. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have boldness toward God;

  23. and whatsoever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
