  1. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning didst lay the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the works of thy hands:

  2. They shall perish; but thou continuest: And they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

  3. And as a mantle shalt thou roll them up, As a garment, and they shall be changed: But thou art the same, And thy years shall not fail.

  15. For he hath said somewhere of the seventh day on this wise, And God rested on the seventh day from all his works;

  16. he again defineth a certain day, To-day, saying in David so long a time afterward (even as hath been said before), To-day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts.

  17. So Christ also glorified not himself to be made a high priest, but he that spake unto him, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee:

  18. as he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever After the order of Melchizedek.

  23. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel After those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, And on their heart also will I write them: And I will be to them a God, And they shall be to me a people:

  24. And they shall not teach every man his fellow-citizen, And every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: For all shall know me, From the least to the greatest of them.

  25. For I will be merciful to their iniquities, And their sins will I remember no more.
