  1. Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations;

  13. Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial among you, which cometh upon you to prove you, as though a strange thing happened unto you:

  14. but insomuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory also ye may rejoice with exceeding joy.

  15. If ye are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are ye; because the Spirit of glory and the Spirit of God resteth upon you.

  16. casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you.

  17. whom withstand stedfast in your faith, knowing that the same sufferings are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world.

  18. I know thy tribulation, and thy poverty (but thou art rich), and the blasphemy of them that say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

  19. Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer: behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.

  20. Be thou watchful, and establish the things that remain, which were ready to die: for I have found no works of thine perfected before my God.

  21. Because thou didst keep the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of trial, that hour which is to come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

  22. As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

  23. And I say unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

  24. Therefore are they before the throne of God; and they serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall spread his tabernacle over them.

  25. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun strike upon them, nor any heat:
