  1. Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men,

  2. nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

  3. Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall bring to nought both it and them. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body:

  4. Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ? shall I then take away the members of Christ, and make them members of a harlot? God forbid.

  5. Or know ye not that he that is joined to a harlot is one body? for, The twain, saith he, shall become one flesh.

  6. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

  7. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

  8. lest again when I come my God should humble me before you, and I should mourn for many of them that have sinned heretofore, and repented not of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they committed.

  9. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

  10. envyings, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they who practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

  11. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye no longer walk as the Gentiles also walk, in the vanity of their mind,

  12. who being past feeling gave themselves up to lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

  13. But ye did not so learn Christ;

  14. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becometh saints;

  15. For this ye know of a surety, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

  16. Let no man deceive you with empty words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience.

  17. and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them;

  18. for the things which are done by them in secret it is a shame even to speak of.

  19. Put to death therefore your members which are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry;

  20. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye abstain from fornication;

  21. that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor,

  22. not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who know not God;

  23. For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification.

  24. as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and unruly, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

  25. for fornicators, for abusers of themselves with men, for menstealers, for liars, for false swearers, and if there be any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;
