  1. and all, whatever ye may do in word or in work, do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus--giving thanks to the God and Father, through him.

  2. In the prayer continue ye, watching in it in thanksgiving;

  12. I give thanks to my God, always making mention of thee in my prayers,

  13. through him, then, we may offer up a sacrifice of praise always to God, that is, the fruit of lips, giving thanks to His name;

  14. and when the living creatures do give glory, and honour, and thanks, to Him who is sitting upon the throne, who is living to the ages of the ages,

  15. And all the messengers stood around the throne, and the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell upon their face, and bowed before God,

  16. saying, `Amen! the blessing, and the glory, and the wisdom, and the thanksgiving, and the honour, and the power, and the strength, are to our God--to the ages of the ages! Amen!'

  17. and the twenty and four elders, who before God are sitting upon their thrones, did fall upon their faces, and did bow before God,

  18. saying, `We give thanks to Thee, O Lord God, the Almighty, who art, and who wast, and who art coming, because Thou hast taken Thy great power and didst reign;
