  1. But you, LORD, are on high forever more.

  2. For, behold, your enemies, LORD, for, behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evildoers will be scattered.

  12. For thus says the LORD, “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast my covenant:

  13. to them I will give in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

  14. Also the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD, to minister to him, and to love the LORD’s name, to be his servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it, and holds fast my covenant;

  15. even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted on my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”

  16. “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, and the holy of the LORD honorable; and shall honor it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words:

  17. then you shall delight yourself in the LORD; and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth; and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father:” for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.

  18. It shall happen, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me,” says the LORD.

  19. Thus says the LORD, Be careful, and bear no burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;

  20. neither carry a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath day, neither do any work: but make the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your fathers.

  21. It shall happen, if you diligently listen to me, says the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but to make the Sabbath day holy, to do no work therein;

  22. then shall there enter in by the gates of this city kings and princes sitting on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and this city shall remain forever.

  23. But if you will not listen to me to make the Sabbath day holy, and not to bear a burden and enter in at the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day; then I will kindle a fire in its gates, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.

  24. Jerusalem remembers in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that were from the days of old: when her people fell into the hand of the adversary, and no one helped her, The adversaries saw her, they mocked at her desolations.

  25. He has violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden; he has destroyed his place of assembly: The LORD has caused solemn assembly and Sabbath to be forgotten in Zion, Has despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.
