  1. God said, “Let the earth produce living creatures after their kind, livestock, creeping things, and animals of the earth after their kind”; and it was so.

  11. You shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps, neither shall you make yourselves unclean with them, that you should be defiled thereby.

  12. lest you corrupt yourselves, and make yourself an engraved image in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

  13. the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the water under the earth;

  14. who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with fiery serpents and scorpions, and thirsty ground where there was no water; who poured water for you out of the rock of flint;
