Bible Verses About Privileges of Saints: Secure during public calamities
Verses on Secure during public calamities
In famine he will redeem you from death; in war, from the power of the sword.
For you shall be allied with the stones of the field. The animals of the field shall be at peace with you.
The LORD is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
When evildoers came at me to eat up my flesh, even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.
Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.
One thing I have asked of the LORD, that I will seek after, that I may dwell in the LORD’s house all the days of my life, to see the LORD’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.
For in the day of trouble he will keep me secretly in his pavilion. In the covert of his tabernacle he will hide me. He will lift me up on a rock.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day;
nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.
You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked.
Because you have made LORD your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,
no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.
