  1. Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;

  2. He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.

  3. He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh.

  4. The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.

  19. God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.

  20. ¶ The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:

  21. Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.

  22. For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

  23. For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.

  24. They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.

  25. Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.
