I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
¶ Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.
¶ Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
¶ We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
¶ I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
¶ I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.
Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.
His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.
He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.
