  1. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

  2. ¶ Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

  3. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

  4. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

  5. For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

  6. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

  7. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

  8. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

  9. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

  10. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

  11. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

  12. For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

  13. ¶ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

  14. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

  15. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
