  1. (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

  11. For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

  12. Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

  13. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

  14. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

  15. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

  16. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

  17. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

  18. That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

  19. For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

  20. ¶ Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

  21. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

  22. And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

  23. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

  24. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

  25. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
