  1. And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

  18. Especially because I know thee to be expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently.

  19. To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

  20. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

  21. And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

  22. But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

  23. Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

  24. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

  25. ¶ Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
