  1. And as he prolonged the time, the men caught both him and his wife, and his two daughters by the hands (the Lord being mercifull vnto him) and they brought him foorth, and set him without the citie.

  2. Behold now, thy seruant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercie, which thou hast shewed vnto me in sauing my life: and I cannot escape in the mountaine, least some euill take me, and I die.

  7. Ye nations, praise his people: for he will auenge the blood of his seruants, and will execute vengeance vpon his aduersaries, and will bee mercifull vnto his lande, and to his people.

  8. And sayd, O Lord God of Israel, there is no God like thee in heauen aboue, or in the earth beneath, thou that keepest couenant and mercie with thy seruants that walke before thee with all their heart,

  9. Prayse the Lord, for hee is good, for his mercie endureth for euer.

  10. But refused to obey, and would not remember thy marueilous works that thou haddest done for them, but hardened their neckes, and had in their heads to returne to their bondage by their rebellion: but thou, O God of mercies, gratious and full of compassion, of long suffring and of great mercie, yet forsookest them not.

  11. Therefore thou deliueredst them into the hande of their enemies that vexed them: yet in the time of their affliction, when they cryed vnto thee, thou heardest them from the heauen, and through thy great mercies thou gauest them sauiours, who saued them out of the hande of their aduersaries.

  12. Haue mercie vpon me, O Lord, for I am weake: O Lord heale me, for my bones are vexed.

  13. Returne, O Lord: deliuer my soule: saue me for thy mercies sake.

  14. Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies, and thy louing kindnesse: for they haue beene for euer.

  15. I wil be glad and reioyce in thy mercie: for thou hast seene my trouble: thou hast knowen my soule in aduersities,

  16. Then I acknowledged my sinne vnto thee, neither hid I mine iniquitie: for I thought, I will confesse against my selfe my wickednesse vnto the Lord, and thou forgauest the punishment of my sinne. Selah.

  17. Thy mercy, O Lord, reacheth vnto the heauens, and thy faithfulnesse vnto the cloudes.

  18. To him that excelleth. A Psalme of David, when the Prophet Nathan came unto him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba. Have mercie vpon me, O God, according to thy louing kindnes: according to the multitude of thy compassions put away mine iniquities.

  19. But I shall bee like a greene oliue tree in the house of God: for I trusted in the mercie of God for euer and euer.

  20. And to thee, O Lord, mercie: for thou rewardest euery one according to his worke.

  21. For thou, Lord, art good and mercifull, and of great kindenes vnto all them, that call vpon thee.

  22. But thou, O Lord, art a pitifull God and mercifull, slowe to anger and great in kindenes and trueth.

  23. My mercie will I keepe for him for euermore, and my couenant shall stande fast with him.

  24. Which redeemeth thy life from the graue, and crowneth thee with mercy and compassions.
