Bible Verses About Union With Christ
Key Bible Verses
Because we are members of him, body, of his flesh and of his bones.
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother: and shall cleave to his wife. And they shall be two in one flesh.
This is a great sacrament: but I speak in Christ and in the church.
For let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
And may be found in him, not having my justice, which is of the law, but that which is of the faith of Christ Jesus, which is of God: justice in faith.
That I may know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings: being made conformable to his death,
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he may hold the primacy:
To whom God would make known the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ, in you the hope of glory.
Rooted and built up in him and confirmed in the faith, as also you have learned: abounding in him in thanksgiving.
And you are filled in him, who is the head of all principality and power.
Let no man seduce you, willing in humility and religion of angels, walking in the things which he hath not seen, in vain puffed up by the sense of his flesh:
And not holding the head, from which the whole body, by joints and bands, being supplied with nourishment and compacted, groweth into the increase of God.
If we suffer, we shall also reign with him. If we deny him, he will also deny us.
Unto whom coming, as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men but chosen and made honourable by God:
Be you also as living stones built up, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
Wherefore it is said in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious. And he that shall believe in him shall not be confounded.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked.
As for you, let that which you have heard from the beginning abide in you. If that abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning, you also shall abide in the Son and in the Father.
And now, little children, abide in him, that when he shall appear we may have confidence and not be confounded by him at his coming.
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: and whosoever sinneth hath not seen him nor known him.
And he that keepeth his commandments abideth in him, and he in him. And in this we know that he abideth in us by the Spirit which he hath given us.
In this we know that we abide in him, and he in us: because he hath given us of his spirit.
And we know that the Son of God is come. And he hath given us understanding that we may know the true God and may be in his true Son. This is the true God and life eternal.
Whosoever revolteth and continueth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God. He that continueth in the doctrine, the same hath both the Father and the Son.
