Bible Verses About Union With Christ
Key Bible Verses
My beloved to me, and I to him who feedeth among the lilies,
I to my beloved, and his turning is towards me.
And the king answering shall say to them: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me.
Then he shall answer them, saying: Amen: I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to me.
For my flesh is meat indeed: and my blood is drink indeed.
In that day you shall know that I am in my Father: and you in me, and I in you.
I am the true vine: and my Father is the husbandman.
Abide in me: and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in me.
I am the vine: you the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.
If any one abide not in me, he shall be cast forth as a branch and shall wither: and they shall gather him up and cast him into the fire: and he burneth.
If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall ask whatever you will: and it shall be done unto you.
That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
I in them, and thou in me: that they may be made perfect in one: and the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved them, as thou hast also loved me.
And at that time, there was raised a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem. And they were all dispersed through the countries of Judea, and Samaria, except the apostles.
And falling on the ground, he heard a voice saying to him: Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
Who, when he was come and had seen the grace of God, rejoiced. And he exhorted them all with purpose of heart to continue in the Lord.
Know you not that all we who are baptized in Christ Jesus are baptized in his death?
For we are buried together with him by baptism into death: that, as Christ is risen from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also may walk in newness of life.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin may be destroyed, to the end that we may serve sin no longer.
For he that is dead is justified from sin.
Now, if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall live also together with Christ.
There is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh.
And if Christ be in you, the body indeed is dead, because of sin: but the spirit liveth, because of justification.
Who then shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation? Or distress? Or famine? Or nakedness? Or danger? Or persecution? Or the sword?
