  1. And the Lord hath not given you a heart to understand, and eyes to see, and ears that may hear, unto this present day.

  20. If the Lord shall wash away the filth of the daughters of Sion, and shall wash away the blood of Jerusalem out of the midst thereof, by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

  22. Lord, thou wilt give us peace: for thou hast wrought all our works for us.

  23. But when he shall see his children, the work of my hands in the midst of him sanctifying my name, and they shall sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall glorify the God of Israel:

  24. The eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken diligently.

  25. And the heart of fools shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of stammerers shall speak readily and plain.
