  1. I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name, for it is good in the sight of thy saints.

  10. And he said to me: What seest thou? And I said: I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, and its lamp upon the top of it: and the seven lights thereof upon it: and seven funnels for the lights that were upon the top thereof.

  11. And two olive trees over it: one upon the right side of the lamp, and the other upon the left side thereof.

  12. And I answered, and said to the angel that spoke in me, saying: What are these things, my lord?

  13. And the angel that spoke in me answered, and said to me: Knowest thou not what these things are? And I said: No, my lord.

  14. And he answered, and spoke to me, saying: This is the word of the Lord to Zorobabel, saying: Not with an army, nor by might, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

  15. Who art thou, O great mountain, before Zorobabel? thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring out the chief stone, and shall give equal grace to the grace thereof.

  16. And Jesus being baptized, forthwith came out of the water: and lo, the heavens were opened to him: and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him.

  17. And behold a voice from heaven saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

  18. Therefore I say to you: Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy of the Spirit shall not be forgiven.

  19. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but he that shall speak against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him neither in this world, nor in the world to come.

  20. And behold there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon: and this man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel. And the Holy Ghost was in him.

  21. And he had received an answer from the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death before he had seen the Christ of the Lord.

  22. And he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when his parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the law,

  23. Jesus answered: Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

  24. That which is born of the flesh is flesh: and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

  25. He that believeth in me, as the scripture saith: Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
