Verses Mentioning Kohath
The sons of Levi: Gerson and Caath, and Merari.
And these are the names of the sons of Levi by their kindreds: Gerson, and Caath, and Merari. And the years of the life of Levi were a hundred and thirty-seven.
The sons of Caath: Amram, and Isaar, and Hebron and Oziel. And the years of Caath's life, were a hundred and thirty-three.
And there were found sons of Levi by their names, Gerson and Caath Merari.
The sons of Caath: Amram, and Jesaar, Hebron and Oziel:
Of the kindred of Caath come the families of the Amramites and Jesaarites and Hebronites and Ozielites. These are the families of the Caathites reckoned up by their names:
And shall camp on the south side.
Take the sum of the sons of Caath from the midst of the Levites, by their houses and families.
This is the service of the sons of Caath:
And when Aaron and his sons have wrapped up the sanctuary and the vessels thereof at the removing of the camp, then shall the sons of Caath enter in to carry the things wrapped up: and they shall not touch the vessels of the sanctuary, lest they die. These are the burdens of the sons of Caath: in the tabernacle of the covenant:
But to the sons of Caath he gave no wagons or oxen: because they serve in the sanctuary and carry their burdens upon their own shoulders.
And behold Core the son of Isaar, the son of Caath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiron the sons of Eliab, and Hon the son of Pheleth of the children of Ruben,
This also is the number of the sons of Levi by their families: Gerson, of whom is the family of the Gersonites: Caath, of whom is the family of the Caathites: Merari, of whom is the family of the Merarites.
These are the families of Levi: The family of Lobni, the family of Hebroni, the family of Core. Now Caath begot Amram:
And to the rest of the children of Caath, that is, to thee Levites, who remained, out of the tribes of Ephraim, and of Dan, and the half tribe of Manasses, ten cities.
And to the rest of the families of the children of Caath of the race of Levi was given this possession.
All the cities were ten, with their suburbs, which were given to the children of Caath, of the inferior degree.
The sons of Levi were Gerson, Caath, and Merari.
The Sons of Caath: Amram, Isaar, Hebron, and Oziel.
So the sons of Levi were Gerson, Caath, and Merari.
The sons of Caath: Amram, and Isaar, and Hebron, and Oziel.
The sons of Caath, Aminadab his son, Core his son, Asir his son,
The son of Isaar, the son of Caath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.
And to the sons of Caath that remained of their kindred they gave out of the half tribe of Manasses ten cities in possession.
And to them that were of the kindred of the sons of Caath, and the cities in their borders were of the tribe of Ephraim.
