  2. From there Abram moved on to the hill country east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel to the west and Ai to the east. There he built an altar to the LORD, and he called on the name of the LORD.

  13. With one accord they all continued in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

  14. He and all his household were devout and God-fearing. He gave generously to the people and prayed to God regularly.

  15. About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.

  16. When Paul had said this, he knelt down with all of them and prayed.

  17. But when our time there had ended, we set out on our journey. All the disciples, with their wives and children, accompanied us out of the city and knelt down on the beach to pray with us.
