  1. “We both had dreams,” they replied, “but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them, “Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

  2. “I myself cannot do it,” Joseph replied, “but God will give Pharaoh a sound answer.”

  4. Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.

  5. God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

  6. God also told Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.

  7. Now go! I will help you as you speak, and I will teach you what to say.”

  8. You are to speak to him and put the words in his mouth. I will help both of you to speak, and I will teach you what to do.

  9. Meanwhile, the LORD had said to Aaron, “Go and meet Moses in the wilderness.” So he went and met Moses at the mountain of God and kissed him.

  10. Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron and gave them a charge concerning both the Israelites and Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the Israelites out of the land of Egypt.

  11. He said to him, “I am the LORD; tell Pharaoh king of Egypt everything I say to you.”

  12. You are to speak all that I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his land.

  13. Then Moses went up to God, and the LORD called to him from the mountain, “This is what you are to tell the house of Jacob and explain to the sons of Israel:

  14. The LORD said to Moses, “Behold, I will come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear when I speak with you, and they will always put their trust in you.” And Moses relayed to the LORD what the people had said.

  15. And as the sound of the ram’s horn grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and God answered him in the thunder.

  16. and the glory of the LORD settled on Mount Sinai. For six days the cloud covered it, and on the seventh day the LORD called to Moses from within the cloud.

  17. You must make the tabernacle and design all its furnishings according to the pattern I show you.

  18. And I will meet with you there above the mercy seat, between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the Testimony; I will speak with you about all that I command you regarding the Israelites.

  19. So you are to set up the tabernacle according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.

  20. As Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and remain at the entrance, and the LORD would speak with Moses.

  21. Thus the LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young assistant Joshua son of Nun would not leave the tent.

  22. And He has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability, and knowledge in all kinds of craftsmanship,

  23. He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and as weavers—as artistic designers of every kind of craft.

  24. Then the LORD called to Moses and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying,

  25. On the first day of the second month of the second year after the Israelites had come out of the land of Egypt, the LORD spoke to Moses in the Tent of Meeting in the Wilderness of Sinai. He said:
