  11. filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

  12. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

  13. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,

  14. I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly calling in Christ Jesus.

  15. All of us who are mature should embrace this point of view. And if you think differently about some issue, God will reveal this to you as well.

  16. so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,

  17. being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have full endurance and patience, and joyfully

  18. And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow with love for one another and for everyone else, just as our love for you overflows,

  19. so that He may establish your hearts in blamelessness and holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints. Amen.

  20. Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith in God,

  21. instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

  22. And this we will do, if God permits.

  23. Rid yourselves, therefore, of all malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander.

  24. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,

  25. now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
