  9. how I shrank not from declaring unto you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly, and from house to house,

  10. testifying both to Jews and to Greeks repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

  11. And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:

  12. save that the Holy Spirit testifieth unto me in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.

  13. But I hold not my life of any account as dear unto myself, so that I may accomplish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

  14. And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom, shall see my face no more.

  15. Wherefore I testify unto you this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

  16. For I shrank not from declaring unto you the whole counsel of God.

  17. Wherefore watch ye, remembering that by the space of three years I ceased not to admonish every one night and day with tears.

  18. I coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel.

  19. Ye yourselves know that these hands ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

  20. Then Paul answered, What do ye, weeping and breaking my heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

  21. And they, when they heard it, glorified God; and they said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of them that have believed; and they are all zealous for the law:

  22. But this I confess unto thee, that after the Way which they call a sect, so serve I the God of our fathers, believing all things which are according to the law, and which are written in the prophets;

  23. having hope toward God, which these also themselves look for, that there shall be a resurrection both of the just and unjust.

  24. Herein I also exercise myself to have a conscience void of offence toward God and men always.
