  1. By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, Thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of them that are afar off upon the sea:

  2. Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains, Being girded about with might;

  3. Who stilleth the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.

  4. They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: Thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.

  5. Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it, Thou greatly enrichest it; The river of God is full of water: Thou providest them grain, when thou hast so prepared the earth.

  6. Thou waterest its furrows abundantly; Thou settlest the ridges thereof: Thou makest it soft with showers; Thou blessest the springing thereof.

  7. Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; And thy paths drop fatness.

  8. They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness; And the hills are girded with joy.

  9. The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered over with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing.

  10. God be merciful unto us, and bless us, And cause his face to shine upon us; [Selah

  11. That thy way may be known upon earth, Thy salvation among all nations.

  12. Let the peoples praise thee, O God; Let all the peoples praise thee.

  13. Oh let the nations be glad and sing for joy; For thou wilt judge the peoples with equity, And govern the nations upon earth. [Selah

  15. The earth hath yielded its increase: God, even our own God, will bless us.

  16. God will bless us; And all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

  17. Make haste, O God, to deliver me; Make haste to help me, O Jehovah.

  18. Let them be put to shame and confounded That seek after my soul: Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor That delight in my hurt.

  19. Let them be turned back by reason of their shame That say, Aha, aha.

  20. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; And let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

  21. But I am poor and needy; Make haste unto me, O God: Thou art my help and my deliverer; O Jehovah, make no tarrying.

  22. We give thanks unto thee, O God; We give thanks, for thy name is near: Men tell of thy wondrous works.

  23. When I shall find the set time, I will judge uprightly.

  24. The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I have set up the pillars of it. [Selah
