  1. Moses indeed said, A prophet shall the Lord God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me; to him shall ye hearken in all things whatsoever he shall speak unto you.

  19. For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit:

  20. to another faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, in the one Spirit;

  21. and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits: to another divers kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues:

  22. but all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each one severally even as he will.

  23. and the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets;

  24. What then is the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise hath been made; and it was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.

  25. who both killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove out us, and please not God, and are contrary to all men;
