  9. For they have made ready their heart like an oven, while they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.

  10. They are all hot as an oven, and devour their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me.

  11. And he commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass; and he took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.

  12. And they all ate, and were filled: and they took up that which remained over of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full.

  13. And they that did eat were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

  14. And Jesus said unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few small fishes.

  15. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground;

  16. and he took the seven loaves and the fishes; and he gave thanks and brake, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.

  17. And they all ate, and were filled: and they took up that which remained over of the broken pieces, seven baskets full.

  18. For the bread of God is that which cometh down out of heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

  19. They said therefore unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

  20. Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

  21. For I received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which he was betrayed took bread;

  22. and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, This is my body, which is for you: this do in remembrance of me.
