  1. And if a brother or sister is naked and in lack of daily food,

  2. and one of you tells them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled”; and yet you didn’t give them the things the body needs, what good is it?

  13. Because it is contained in Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen, and precious: He who believes in him will not be disappointed.”

  14. For you who believe therefore is the honor, but for those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected, has become the chief cornerstone,”

  15. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.

  16. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Yeshua is the Son of God?

  17. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
