  1. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

  14. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

  15. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

  16. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

  17. He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

  18. Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.

  19. Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?

  20. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

  21. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

  22. If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

  23. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

  24. ¶ But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

  25. That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
