  1. And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.

  2. And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

  16. ¶ And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.

  17. ¶ But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.

  18. For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.

  19. Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.

  20. And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:

  21. Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.

  22. But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

  23. And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

  24. Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?

  25. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
