  1. The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

  2. And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:

  3. ¶ Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.

  4. When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:

  5. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

  12. ¶ Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

  13. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

  14. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

  15. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

  16. ¶ LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.

  17. Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.

  18. And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

  19. There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.

  20. ¶ How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

  21. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

  22. For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

  23. And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

  24. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

  25. He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
