  1. Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

  2. Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

  14. A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

  15. The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

  16. ¶ The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.

  17. ¶ Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.

  18. ¶ Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

  19. ¶ The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.

  20. ¶ By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

  21. ¶ Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?

  22. ¶ An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

  23. The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.

  24. ¶ He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

  25. There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
