  1. By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:

  2. ¶ Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:

  3. Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

  4. They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.

  5. Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.

  6. Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.

  7. Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.

  8. They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.

  9. The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

  10. ¶ To the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm or Song. God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.

  11. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.

  12. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.

  13. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.

  15. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.

  16. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

  17. ¶ To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.

  18. Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

  19. Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

  20. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

  21. But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.

  22. ¶ To the chief Musician, Altaschith, A Psalm or Song of Asaph. Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

  23. When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

  24. The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
