  1. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

  2. ¶ To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David. Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?

  10. To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

  11. ¶ Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

  12. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

  13. ¶ The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

  14. And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

  15. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

  16. The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

  17. That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.

  18. The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.

  19. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

  20. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

  21. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

  22. Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

  23. All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

  24. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

  25. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
