  1. Thou shalt make thy praier vnto him, and he shall heare thee, and thou shalt render thy vowes.

  2. Thou shalt also decree a thing, and he shall establish it vnto thee, and the light shall shine vpon thy wayes.

  3. When others are cast downe, then shalt thou say, I am lifted vp: and God shall saue the humble person.

  4. Would he plead against me with his great power? No, but he would put strength in me.

  5. He shall pray vnto God, and he will be fauourable vnto him, and he shall see his face with ioy: for he will render vnto man his righteousnes.

  6. He looketh vpon men, and if one say, I haue sinned, and peruerted righteousnesse, and it did not profite me,

  7. He will deliuer his soule from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

  8. Away from mee all ye workers of iniquitie: for the Lord hath heard the voyce of my weeping.

  9. The Lord hath heard my petition: the Lord will receiue my prayer.

  10. And they that know thy Name, will trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not failed them that seeke thee.

  11. The poore shall eate and be satisfied: they that seeke after the Lord, shall prayse him: your heart shall liue for euer.

  12. Who shall ascende into the mountaine of the Lord? and who shall stand in his holy place?

  13. Euen he that hath innocent handes, and a pure heart: which hath not lift vp his minde vnto vanitie, nor sworne deceitfully.

  14. He shall receiue a blessing from the Lord, and righteousnesse from the God of his saluation.

  15. This is the generation of them that seeke him, of them that seeke thy face, this is Iaakob. Selah.

  16. Then I acknowledged my sinne vnto thee, neither hid I mine iniquitie: for I thought, I will confesse against my selfe my wickednesse vnto the Lord, and thou forgauest the punishment of my sinne. Selah.

  17. Therefore shall euery one, that is godly, make his prayer vnto thee in a time, when thou mayest be founde: surely in the flood of great waters they shall not come neere him.

  18. The Lord is neere vnto them that are of a contrite heart, and will saue such as be afflicted in Spirite.

  19. The sacrifices of God are a contrite spirit: a contrite and a broken heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

  20. But let all those that seeke thee, be ioyfull and glad in thee, and let all that loue thy saluation, say alwaies, God be praised.

  21. Fill vs with thy mercie in the morning: so shall we reioyce and be glad all our dayes.

  22. Comfort vs according to the dayes that thou hast afflicted vs, and according to the yeeres that we haue seene euill.

  23. The Lord is neere vnto all that call vpon him: yea, to all that call vpon him in trueth.

  24. He wil fulfill the desire of them that feare him: he also wil heare their cry, and wil saue them.

  25. He healeth those that are broken in heart, and bindeth vp their sores.
